On June 17, 2022, Bernard Amoafo, popularly known as Kwadwo Sheldon, together with High Schools Africa, visited Sonrise Christian High School—the alma mater of Kwadwo Sheldon. Kwadwo Sheldon received a hero’s welcome with a brass band and a guard of honour by the school’s Air Force Cadet.

Kwadwo Sheldon, one of Ghana’s best YouTube content creators and brand ambassadors, recounted his life on campus and how our motto, perseverance and success, helped him to reach a niche in his life and career. He charged the students to give their best, be law-abiding and put to use the knowledge and training they would acquire from the school. He further pledged to foot the school fees of four brilliant but needy students and offered to provide an enabling environment for all those who want to be in the showbiz space.

At Sonrise, we take a keen interest in the progress of the students we churn out. We continue to provide guidance and counselling even after they have graduated.

We humbly call on all old students, far and near, to come home and share their stories with continuing students.
