Community Service

At Sonrise, we instil in our students the ideals of service. We believe that our world will be a better place as we all commit to thinking about those who are less fortunate and resolve to make their lives better. Sonrise Day of Service is celebrated on the 3rd of October every year and it is a day set aside for community service. Our students therefore learn to develop a heart of service and to appreciate the need to make difference in the lives of others.

One of the most important Sonrise traditions is graduation at the end of every year. After three years of academic work, we believe it is important to bring family and friends together to celebrate our graduands and give them a fitting departure. Graduations are well attended and attract very important personalities as our Guests of Honour.

Co-Curricular Activities

We believe that an educated person is also a well-balanced individual. The beauty of joining our community is that no matter how introverted or extroverted your ward is, he or she will find something to do. In short, we nurture talents and combine these
talents with academics and the results thereof are phenomenal. The school has the following co-curricular activities

  • Sports
  • Airforce Cadet
  • Interact Club
  • Cultural & Drama group
  • Brass Band group
  • School Choir
  • Readers & Writers Club
  • Mathematics & Science Club
